The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun has paid a glowing tribute to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the occasion of his birthday today.
Aroyewun in a statement congratulating President Tinubu extolled him as a good example in leadership, vision and purpose.
”Today, Nigeria celebrates a man whose life reads like a masterclass in resilience, vision, and purpose. From the streets of Lagos to the grandeur of Aso Rock, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s journey is one of Africa’s most compelling stories of transformation, not just of a man, but of a nation shaped by his contributions and leadership.

“As the Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, he turned the state into Africa’s economic crown jewel, creating a model of governance that Nigeria still benchmarks today.”
The statement posited,
” As a political architect, master strategist and topmost leader, he mentored generations of leaders and strengthened Nigeria’s democratic foundations at moments when they were most fragile.
”As the President of our country, he has governed with boldness, making difficult but necessary decisions on economic reform and national restructuring, all in the pursuit of a Nigeria that truly works for her people.

”Where others could have buckled due to political considerations, his desire to see Nigeria survive drives his altruistic actions. He continues to champion systemic reorganisation to promote viable governance at the local government level and improved policing and general security. “
Aroyewun furthered in his tributes:
”President Tinubu is a man of warmth, loyalty, and unshakeable belief in the Nigerian dream. His Renewed Hope Agenda is not mere rhetoric, it is his life’s conviction and wager. His firm commitment to leading the charge on making Nigeria shine is commendable.
”On this special day, we in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA honour our dear President, a statesman, a democrat, and a transformational leader.

”May God grant you health, wisdom, and the strength to complete the great work that you are doing.
”Happy Birthday, Mr. President. History will be kind to you, your excellency.”
